The question

A failed premise transformed into dependable custody

Ouah began with a discovery claim we believed in. When real work said otherwise, the question changed to a harder and more interesting one: what genuinely useful capability is still in here, now that the thing we came for is gone?

Research journey

How the work unfolded

Real work showed the founding broad claim did not hold. We wrote that rejection into the research record rather than forcing the opening premise forward, which is easier to describe than it was to do.

We redirected the evidence that had survived towards dependable custody of information. What came out of that was stronger and more useful than the premise it replaced.

Ouah then showed dependable assessed recovery, including complete fidelity under its strongest guarantee. We measured what that guarantee costs and published the cost rather than the guarantee alone.

Information the work had never seen was taken in without weakening the assessed custody result. Later Forlais work went on to reuse the achievement, and the record still says where it came from.
