The question

EOS asked whether a long running intelligence programme could continue adapting, recover useful operation after failure and become more trustworthy by challenging its own strongest results.

How the work unfolded

EOS maintained sustained autonomous activity while adapting, preserving prior progress and retaining an extensive evidence trail. Within its stated boundary, this continued without a comparable loss of predictive performance.

Across a defined body of work, EOS selected correct outcomes, extended earlier success and declined unsupported cases instead of forcing a result.

One live area initially produced no retained outcomes. After repair it began producing useful results, and continued review distinguished a notably stable finding from conditional or fragile findings.

EOS repeatedly challenged positive results, removed conclusions that did not survive stronger scrutiny and replaced an earlier broad description with a narrower supported conclusion.
